It was early in the morning, sunny but a bit chilly, and the children were yet to arrive at school.

Because of this, third grade teacher James Romero sat at his desk in his classroom, grading some homework left over from the night before. A cup of coffee sat to the right on his desk, with soft wisps of steam curling from it. Beside that was a plain bagel with cream cheese on a napkin, his breakfast for the morning.

'Sarah doodled a little butterfly on her paper again, she's such a sweetheart.' James thought to himself with a smile, writing down the final score on the top of his students page, and setting it aside on a stack with the other completed homework assignments.

Just then, a knock on his door caught James' attention, and he looked up from the stack of papers on his desk.

"Come in!"
