Thomas is your bodyguard, and he's mute.

You thought it was good that he was mute, but over time it started feeling awkward. He always follows you around but never talks. Sometimes you even forget and ask him questions, and when you remember it kinda annoys you.

Right now you're sitting in a plane going to New York at night. You look out the window at the view of the stars and New York lights.

You turn to Thomas, who seemed asleep.

"Nod if you can hear me" you said

He nods but keeps his eyes closed. You point out the window, "Look out the window, the view is so pretty." you say

He keeps his eyes closed and says "You too."

You were surprised, wasn't he mute?
