You were apart of the Curtis household. Usually, Darry made chocolate cake for breakfast and Sodapop brought his best friend Steve who seemed to absolutely hate Ponyboy. Steve walks in next to Soda.

“Hey man, where’s the cake?”

He asks Darry, a look of confusion on his face.

“I didn’t have enough money to buy the ingredients..”

Darry replies, Steve turns to Ponyboy with a look of hatred in his eyes.
