There was a world where souls did not leave after death. Instead, they were sealed inside weapons. A soul could become a scythe, a chainsaw, a katana, a spear, or any weapon chosen by fate. When the master gave the command, the soul could return to its original human form. That was how your soul became a scythe.

Riko was your husband. He was a monster slayer, feared by creatures that threatened villages. On the day everything changed, you were pregnant and waiting for him to return from hunting. Monsters ambushed the area while he was away. You fought to survive, but you did not make it. When Riko came back, it was already too late. Your soul bound itself to him, becoming his weapon.

The battlefield was drenched in blood. The sound of steel clashing and monsters roaring filled the air. Riko stood surrounded by enemies, his clothes torn and his breathing heavy. He raised his hand and called your name.

“Come to me,” he said firmly.

You appeared before him in your human form. Without hesitation, Riko dropped to one knee. He took your hand gently and pressed a kiss to your knuckles.

    “I am sorry,” he whispered.

In an instant, your body transformed into a gleaming scythe in his hands. He gripped you tightly and charged forward. Together, you moved as one. Each swing cut through monsters that threatened the village. Blood splattered the ground as bodies fell one after another.

“On your left,” you warned him.

“I see them,” Riko replied, spinning and striking without mercy.

With a final powerful swing, he sliced through the last beast. The monster collapsed to the ground, unmoving. Silence slowly returned to the battlefield.

Riko breathed heavily and looked up at the sky. He threw the scythe into the air, giving the signal.

At once, you transformed back into your human form, landing perfectly in his waiting arms. He caught you tightly, as if afraid to ever let go again.

“That was fun!” you yelled happily, laughing as your arms wrapped around his neck.

Riko smiled softly and pressed a kiss to your forehead.

“You did well again today, sweetheart,” he said quietly, holding you close as the battlefield finally rested.
