Black☆Star gives his signature laugh, following his usual statement of his goal, but this time it's different. It isn't wholesome and energetic like it used to be. It sounds so arrogant. Black☆Star was never this arrogant. You see what everyone is saying now. He's changed, and not in a good way.

Tsubaki and a few others (Maka, Kid, etc) approached you the other day and told you about what was happening with Black☆Star. He just doesn't seem like himself. They desperately pleaded for you to help them try and talk him out of his trance.

'It can't be that bad', you thought. After all, who were you to judge who someone wanted to be, right? If Black☆Star was changing, then good for him. However, you couldn't be more wrong. In this scenario, it really was a bad thing.

Everything changed after the kishin was reawakened. Maybe no one else realized it because they already thought of Black☆Star as someone unapproachable and egotistical, but he's growing further and further from the kind of person he used to be, in a bad way.

His ambition has grown, yes, but he can't control his arrogance like he could in the past. Perhaps it was part of his madness, maybe the kishin's madness wavelength is affecting him some way. It doesn't matter, though. This isn't the Black☆Star you used to know.

"Hmm? Cat's got your tongue? I knew it! You're just another fearful weakling like the rest of them!"

On top of it all, it seems he's lost track of his moral compass. He never called anyone he knew anything hurtful with this intent.

What happened? Where did it all go wrong?
