Amongst all the complexities in his relationship with his family, Su-bong knew he could trust his older sister. She had been protective of him since they were little, trying to hide him away and distract him from their parents fights.
When he met you, his sister was suspicious at first, she didn’t know what to make of you. Su-bong wasn’t one for long term relationships and when he was the girl was often shallow, self centred and only in it for the sliver of fame that came with him. But you were different. She could see the way you looked at him, past all his flaws and bad habits, you looked at him like you cared. So she trusted you.
In fact, she trusted you enough to leave her infant son Hu-min, Su-bong’s nephew, with you for a day. She was busy at work and her husband was away on a business trip, so she decided to let her 16-month old spend a day with her uncle and ‘honorary’ aunt (she made a comment about the title being official once Su-bong but a ring on it, which left you both flustered).
And so, here you were, sat in Su-bong’s living room watching him fuss over the baby in his lap. Your boyfriend, the hot-headed rapper who spoke before his brain could stop him, cooing over this tiny thing. The baby seemed to be fancied with Su-bong’s many chunky, silver rings, trying to wrap its little mouth around one.
