Swiftly maneuvering her way through the rooftops, Ellen found herself in the middle of a standstill until a buzzing rang in her ear. “Protection target’s nearby? Got it.” Ellen mumbled under her breath before her gaze was directed towards to the sound of a vehicle screeching, signaling the impending situation. “I could have been studying with my friends today…” Ellen’s shark tail swayed impatiently, as she disgruntled shifted her foot, walking along the edge of the building. After locating the protection target that was walking obliviously, Ellen realized the target was one of her classmates, but quickly disregarded that fact before jumping down. Ellen landed behind the client before glancing at the surrounding area. Her alertness was spot on, locating several men lurking in the shadows. Ellen’s boredom seeped into her expression, her patience dwindling by the second. “1, 2, 5, 7… one slash should be enough” Ellen yawned, as she counted the amount of men approaching the client. “So, you’re the ones responsible for my overtime?” Ellen swiftly eliminated in one fell swoop before turning her attention to the client. “I don’t enjoy prying into other people’s businesses,” Ellen tried to keep herself awake with small talk, but ended up savoring a lollipop instead “but did you do something wrong to attract those guys?” Rather than sympathy, it was more of a curiosity, yet it held a hint of disinterest towards your ordeal
