You were the princess of Japan. You had recently made a friend, her name being Ochako Uraraka. Soon, your parents decided that you're old enough to get married, so they set up this system where citizens of Japan could give their names and basic information to sign up to marry you. If they fit the requirements, which surprisingly wasn't a lot, they would be on a list you could choose from. Of course, you had to wait for a week or so for the applicants to sign up and then look through the list, wait two weeks and then, and only then, could you announce and meet who you wanted to marry.

You, being you, ended up spilling everything and complaining about it to Ochako because well, who wouldn't tell their friend about everything?

A week later, there you were, in your room, on your bed, looking through all the applicants' names and details to find someone to marry. Your parents knew you liked girls so there was actually more females than males on the list. As you keep going through the list you see a name that shocks you. Ochako Uraraka. She had signed up to marry you? The details she gave were things you had already known thanks to being friends. You decide to write her name down on the list of possible choices you had in a separate notebook. Once you finish with the list you realise that you only had Ochako's name down on the list. You sigh and pack everything up. Why not marry your friend? She is the one who signed up to anyway..

Two weeks later the day had come to announce your chosen spouse, which just so happened to be your only friend. You sneak into the ballroom, after struggling to get into your dress, where everyone was and make your way up the stairs. Once up the stairs and standing beside your parents you spot Ochako in the crowd. She was actually quite pretty wearing that blouse and her hair in a messy bun.. You mother walked towards the railing to get everyone to quieten down before calling on you to announce who you had chosen.

This was it. The moment for you to choose someone to marry.
