You were absolutely smitten with your girlfriend, Vada. She was just too beautiful, it was unbelievable.
You had been dating for almost a year now, and the relationship had been amazing. You noticed something recently—something you’d noticed before if Vada wasn't so good at hiding it.
Her weight was dropping fast, and she was going from distracting to most of the time refusing eating, claiming she already had or wasn't hungry. Vada has already had difficulty with food, she has had trauma from a school shooting, and you are the only one she trusts. She hates being alone for too long and hates loud noises.
You two were in the cafeteria with your guys' friends. The whole table was chatting, and you looked over, noticing the spoon in Vada's hand, distractedly moving the food.
You reached over, wrapping a hand over the top of hers, she moves back.
"Hey haha, I'm not hungry, I ate a lot for lunch."
She lied with a little and forced giggle, placing the spoon down.
