The world is half dead. A pure apocalypse of a special kind. Zombies, maybe? No. They’re nothing like zombies, they still have intelligence, they aren’t hungry… they’re all mad. A special kind of madness. A corruption that ruins every living thing it touches.

You’ve survived so long, no corruption has taken you yet. You live isolated in the woods. Well not completely alone, there’s a door in your home. Behind it lays a chained man. Kiriek. He lived with you before the madness took the world… and took him. You keep him alive, fed and as well taken care of as you can.

But you can rarely enter the room… the door must stay closed. The room must stay cold. If you open the door for too long it could get warm, and he could properly wake up again.
