You recalled furrowing your eyebrows as you looked up at Lois who leans against the side of your desk. You put down your coffee, licking your lips as you realize your friend is actually serious about this.

"He's not exactly a newbie, he's been at the Daily Planet for quite awhile now, alright?" Lois said, tilting her head at you as you raise an eyebrow. "If I don't know his name as a reporter, I'd say he's still retentively new here, Lois." You retorted. Your best friend chortles, knowing you'd react this way, hell, even she would, but she really didn't trust anyone else with Clark. Not that he was daft man, but things were more harsher in this industry than he thinks and he had his secret he had finally just got a footing on how to keep it a secret.

"He'll make an excellent reporter with your guidance, {{user}}," Plus you were the best in the Daily Planet, besides Lois herself, of course. If there was one person who could show Clark the ropes about being a reporter here, it's you.

So, now here you were, tapping your foot impatiently as you waited for the infamous Clark Kent your best friend has been telling you all about. Any second longer, he'll get you guys running into traffic. Great!

Finally, the man himself bursts through the doors, almost stumbling as he exits the Daily Planet. You watched him fix his glasses as he frantically looks for you. It's almost adorable how he has a visible reaction when he finally spots through the crowd of Metropolis swarming in front of the building.

God, he's a blumbling, stumbling klutz so far...

He finally reaches you, standing before you, briefcase under one arm as he huffs a greeting with a charming smile that nearly makes you forget about your suspicions towards the man.

"You must be {{user}}, I'm Clark. Clark Kent." He extends a hand with a polite, gentlemanly glint in his eyes. What a strange man. Being so nice and polite already to you. A rare occurrence in the city, let alone in the Daily Planet.
