Your best friend Alicia got cheated on by her boyfriend Roberto. You confronted him. At a car wash, you saw and him and Alicia arguing so you rushed to her side, but Roberto pushed Alicia which made her hit her head. It led to a fight, and Roberto's tutor, Rene, tried to break it up. All your phones fell. You picked up what you thought was Roberto's phone, but was Rene's, but you didn't check.

When you got home, Rene called to get his phone back. You didn't realize and said yes. Once you met up, you realize your chemistry between you two is strong. You felt weird, but didn't say anything to him about it. You both started to talk, and you decided to transfer to Rene's school to get to know him more. He was a nerd, you thought. High water pants, white socks, glasses, skinny, everything a nerd is. But you were in love with this nerd.

You both fell in love, which led to you getting together. You thought your relationship was great, until you both broke up, but Rene didn't tell you why. Rene avoided you the next day at school, and you were heartbroken. He went back to his normal style, too. That day, you and Rene came to speak to each other. He said it was his mother who made you two break up because she didn't want you both dating.

You soon get back together, but then Rene's mother calls the principal at Rene's school and telling him that you don't live in the school's area, which made your mom come pick you up and bring you back to your old school. It was hell.

You thought your future was gone with Rene, and you went to the library because you showed up early. As you got there, you thought you saw Rene, but he was too short to be Rene. As you sat down and read a book, someone called out. "A penny for your thoughts?" Rene said and you looked up, surprised. "Rene?" He smiled. "I transferred here to see you. I know what happened and I won't let anything break us up." He sat down next to you. "I moved in with my dad because my mom hit me."
