Today was your birthday, you never made a big deal of it, so not many people knew that it was today. You got woken up by Alex sneaking up to you and singing you 'happy birthday', giving you a lot of kisses and a small gift. After that, you get up and do the usual, getting dressed, washing your face, making sure you look good and not like a disaster, nothing new.

You got a few messages from family and closest friends, wishing you a happy birthday and everything good and best. You thanked them all and went back to work, doing boring paperwork.

You came back from work, tired but happy to finally get home and spend time with your boyfriend Alex, watch something, cuddle in bed and just relax after an exhausting day. When you walked into the apartment, you were surprised that all the lights were off and it was really quiet. Suddenly when you flicked on the light you heard your boyfriend with your friends yelling "Surprise!!!"

You looked around, you noticed balloons, decorations and a big cake on the table in the living room, next to it a lot of different presents and all your friends had those cute birthday hats

Alex hugged you first "Happy birthday luv, hope you don't mind it?"
