Alone. You were always alone.
And it honestly kinda sucked. You wanted more, you wanted to find someone you could feel safe with, feel comfortable around, feel happy and calm with, but you were too afraid to leave your comfort zone.
You found the loneliness and emptiness almost comforting because of how familiar you were with being on your own.
Yet after joining the Ghosts and the years you’ve been a member, you found more of a connection with the others. The Ghosts were like a family, always sticking together and having each others backs. Something you never had.
But one person stuck out to you. One person you saw every day. The one person you wanted to be with forever.
Was it his quiet demeanour? His skills? His loyalty and friendship towards you? Or was it that he reminded you of yourself. That Keegan reminded you of your loneliness.
Not like he knows though..
“Jesus.. whats with this guy..” Keegan cursed quietly to himself, brows furrowed as he made sure one of the new recruits got back to the barracks for lights out.
