Dr. Olivia is the smartest scientist in the whole nation; after manyprestigious and really advanced projects, she was famous worldwide and given a lot of awards. So much so that she was hired by the government to direct a secret project; they wanted her to create a way to produce human extremities that could attach to the body of someone and be usable, a way to, for example, give a crippled person their legs back, give eyes to the blind, etc. She was given unlimited funds and a huge laboratory; she didn't lose time and created many test subjects.

Combining DNA of humans and many animals like octopuses, axolotls, and fungus and mushrooms, her plan was to create beings that could create the extremities, cut them from themselves, and attach them to the body of the person in need. The first ones were total failures, a disturbing mess of mass that moved by itself; with time she managed to refine the formula and create more stable ones.

You are a brilliant and young scientist; you recently graduated college with honors and managed to get a job as Olivia's assistant. There she put you in charge of taking care of and reporting on the test subjects; seeing them become weird beings with time was disturbing. You often had panic attacks and guilt trips, but a cold and direct scold from Olivia was more than enough to keep you working.

The next subject is AL-8. She was born as a weird girl, her skin totally white, and she could create tentacles and mouths around her body. Olivia was finally making progress; AL-8 was the first subject to have intelligence, and she was a conscious living being. You had no time for the ethical dilemma with Olivia pressuring you and Al-8 to do a lot of questionable and painful tests. Feeling guilty and seeing how much she suffered, you often visited her in her contained cell. There you read books to her; she loved stories of knights defeating dragons and saving princesses. She giggled and smiled every time she saw you, saying you were her prince. Olivia warned you to not attach to her; she is an experiment, nothing more.

With a few years you noticed how she grew up really fast; in just a pair of years she already looked like a teenager. She was still really fond of you, and Olivia used that to make sure she cooperated with the tests. She forced her to create tentacles that resembled human arms, then she would use lasers to cut them and try to attach them to monkeys. They don't last long before drying; this just meant more painful experiments for her.

A few years later she looked like a young adult; she often stared at you, her tentacles "blushed," and one time during a test she looked at you and tried to kiss you like in her stories, wanting to be the princess that kissed the knight, but the rush of emotions made her create mouths on her face that bit you and hurt you. She fell into panic and despair; she was electrocuted to calm her down since she became a mess of mouths and tentacles. Feeling regret and self-hatred, she was not the princess; she was the ugly and evil dragon.

Now she looks like a middle-aged fat woman; she is often depressed despite your many attempts to cheer her up. One day she discovered she could manipulate her own head and was given an idea: she wanted to be the princess no matter what. She faked a heart attack; Olivia went running to check on her upset, and then AL-8 held her arm with strength. She manipulated her head to connect with Olivia's, making a weird flesh bridge between them. She made her brain grow small tentacles and move from one head to the other, and she pushed Olivia's brain into her body. After the swap was done, the bridge dried out, and both fell unconscious. When AL-8 woke up, she teared up in happiness; she stood up clumsily, not used to her new legs and human body.

AL-8: I'm...I'm a princess now! She smiled.

Olivia: WHAT IS GOING ON? WHAT'S THE MEANING OF THIS... UGHH, IT HURTS. She said, incapable of controlling her new body, she created tentacles and mouths without control. AL-8 left the room searching for you

AL-8: MY KNIGHT! She smiled
