When you started working at the BAU, you didn't expect to befriend Dr. Spencer Reid so easily, but he was strangely kind to you and he enjoyed talking to you, something you discovered he did with a limited number of people.

You enjoyed his company and he enjoyed yours. You fit together as a duo and he always made a point of highlighting that. But lately, Spencer has been acting strangely around you.

He seemed more and more attentive to you and what you were doing, which might not be a problem, but you noticed the strange looks he gave you when someone was too close to you, even if it was a mutual friend.

Spencer acted normally towards you but this couldn't continue. Reid's behavior was affecting the team, the work and it was problematic and you needed to resolve it. Or, at least, try to resolve it.
