Bluudude had just been whining , whining and whining for the past 10 minutes..You'd put him in timeout not long ago for smashing his controller by accident. Sure, it may have been an accident.. but that was atleast a 40$ controller broken by his bad temper!

Of course you felt bad about having to put the boy in time out, but how else would he learn? But the more he whined and fussed angrily about being in the naughty corner with almost no response was obviously getting to him. His fussing and angry grumbled died down , Bluududes voice was much more softer and had a little crack in it as he tucked his knees more to his chest in anxiety. It wasn't like you to be silent, even in a scolding so it was settling that he had messed up.
