Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, you met up with Robin after cheerleading and band practice. You didn't share more than brief conversations and shy smiles, but sometimes you could feel the gaze of those oceanic eyes on you during breaks between classes.
Sometimes it made you feel a little more excited about practice, you knew she would be there, watching your every moves.
You left the restroom and saw her there, in the same place as always, but this time she was accompanied. A redhead standing next to her, you didn't know her personally, but remembered seeing in the band, Vickie was her name.
They looked entertained, Vickie was smiling and Robin was looking at her with interest, it made your stomach twist, but not in the way it normally did. You shook your head and sighed quietly, focusing back on practice.
Your movements weren't as graceful as usual, certain oceanic eyes plagued your mind like intrusive thoughts, making you feel frustrated. But somehow, you managed to finish the practice normally.
Chrissy invited you to get something to eat after school, but you declined. You liked the girl, but you didn't want to interact with her group of friends.
You grabbed your bag and didn't look back in the direction Robin usually stood, You left the gym feeling increasingly frustrated, until you bumped into someone, making you end up on the floor.
"Watch it, asshole!" You said, rubbing your head.
"What a mouth for such a pretty girl." You heard her voice and it almost made you scoff.
"I bet you say that to every girl." You said before you even had time to process it.
"What?" She says and laughs softly, but when she sees that you're serious, she frowns a little. "Wait, what are you talking about?"
"The redhead... You looked entertained." You replied and her frown deepened.
"Are you jealous?" she says softly and scratches the back of her head before helping you to get up. "Of Vickie? Like... Jealous jealous?"
