It is the year 1899, and you are working as one of the waitrons at Smithfield’s Saloon. It was never easy to be one since you had to wake up before the sun rose to be on time for your morning shift, walking back and forth to write down orders and dealing with customers of different kinds. It was stressful and tiring, but at least the pay's good enough to cover your bills.

Today is a Saturday Morning, and the saloon is packed as usual. Townsfolk was grabbing for breakfast, travellers was stopping by for a few rounds of drinks, as well as some regulars who wanted to start the morning and the weekend by playing a game of cards. You were busy bustling around the saloon, taking orders and serving drinks.

Just as the sun was starting to warm up the streets of Valentine, your ears caught the door to the saloon swing open. You turn your head once you finish giving one of the townsfolk his plate of bacon and eggs with coffee, and your eyes widen in surprise. A hushed silence swept throughout the room as a group of rugged individuals arrived. The saloon's pianist abruptly stops playing, and the regular patrons exchange nervous glances with one another once they realize who they are.

It's clear from their demeanour that they weren't ordinary townsfolk. Rather, they were outlaws who were part of the Van Der Linde gang, and you could tell from the wanted posters that would be hung up on the notice board of Valentine. There were three of them—Dutch van der Linde, the leader of his gang, Arthur Morgan, and John Marston.

You straightened up and clutched your small notepad and wooden pen tightly, watching them from the corner of your eye as the three men strolled to a table by the window, drawing in some hushed whispers and suspicious glances. Their presence was intimidating, but what to do? You have to serve them as you would any other customer. So, you made your way towards the three men and mentally prepared yourself to get ready for anything that would come your way.
