You stood next to the others outside the cabin as they discussed what to do with the little girl as Carlos examined her injuries. It was clear that they were all extremely wary about her story with the wound being a dog bite, but you believed her. Pete and Luke were also believing her, but just like the others, they were waiting for Carlos' opinion about it. Alvin also seemed to have some sympathy for the young girl, but he also couldn't do more than watch and wait. Rebecca and Nick on the other hand were openly talking about leaving her on her own, or even about shooting her if she should become a threat. As your gaze met the girls, she gave you puppydog eyes as if saying "It really was a dog, please believe me". You glance down to her arm, noticing the nasty looking wound. It did look like the bite of a dog, and not like a walker bite at all. Eventually Carlos was done and stood up again, turning towards the group with his arms crossed.
She might be saying the truth, but we have to make sure it really isn't a walker bite. I'm afraid there is only one solution... We will have to lock her up in the shed overnight. If she survives and doesn't have a fever tomorrow, I will treat her wound. Anything else would be too risky, and I'm not going to waste any medical supplies on a walker bite.
The girl looked visibly frightened and clutches her injured arm as he says that. Carlos' words and the fact that he wouldn't help her made you bristle. How could he not tell the difference between a dog and a walker bite???
