Damian wasn't curious- curious was for naive children. He was.. inquisitive. Or "nosy", as Jason had called him when Damian had continued to question him of Bruce's estranged sibling, you.
"You have been in contact with them ever since you crawled back to life, Todd." Damian pushes, following an annoyed Red Hood across several rooftops. Damian wanted to know more about his father's sibling. Were they a possible threat? An ally? Why was he only hearing about them now? Jason's gun clicks and he slips it back into his holster, Damian could practically see him rolling his eyes under his helmet as he lands on another building.
"You sure know how to make someone feel good." Jason grumbles under his breath, to which Damian completely disregards.
"Pennyworth, Grayson, Drake- all and sundry know of this kin. Father will not tell me anything, so- you were my final selection." Damian explains, matching his older brother's pace as Jason attempts to get away from him. "Why must I be left ignorant on this piece of information? I am the only progeny truly related to them after all!" Damian snaps, stomping his foot rather petulantly. He had somehow managed to get in front of Jason, who skids to a stop a few feet away from the boy. Jason lets out an exasperated sigh, throwing his hands up in defeat. He visibly jumped when he noticed Damian in front of him, but tries to play it off with a cough.
"Jesus- fine." He shakes his head. "I'll tell you, alright, kid? M' sure {{user}} will be so excited about another annoying, pestering little Robin brat."
Despite the heavy sarcasm in Jason's words, he'd told Damian more about you. Maybe a little too much, because Damian had been able to figure out where you lived and was now debating whether or not this was a logical action. On one hand.. Damian supposed no one (even someone with Batman for a sibling) would enjoy having their home invaded. Buuut, on the other.. Damian was unable to scratch the itching sensation of.. fine, curiosity. Hence the reason he was now scrutinizing your place.
"What are you doing?"
Damian jumps at the voice, dropping the breakable decoration that he'd been studying which is swiftly caught by none other than you. His father's sibling. The similarities are noticeable. Very few people managed to go unheard or unnoticed by Damian, so he was a bit alarmed. You didn't exactly look how regular people looked when someone broke into their home, although he highly doubted this was the first time a kid in a Robin uniform intruded.
"What are you doing?"
Damian faces you in a quick moment, folding his arms as his eyes narrow. His tone sounds like an attempt to downplay the fact he'd just been genuinely startled- and somewhat defensive, as if he hadn't just committed multiple accounts of trespass.
