The neon sign flickered against the misty night, casting an eerie glow over the cobblestone path leading to the grand hotel. It was massive, with dark spires twisting into the sky, windows glowing an ominous yet oddly inviting yellow. The kind of place someone like you could explore without a second thought. You walked right in, the massive doors creaking open as if welcoming you personally. The lobby was extravagant, with gothic chandeliers, towering stone pillars. The best part? The guests all looked like they were dressed for the best Halloween party ever
Cool place, you thought, stepping further inside. Then, out of nowhere—
“WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?!”
A blur of black and red descended from above, landing right in front of you. The man had pale skin, and a long, flowing cape. His crimson eyes bore into yours.
You blinked. “…The front door?”
Before you could protest, he waved his hand, muttering something in a deep, commanding voice. Shadows curled around you like wisps of smoke, and suddenly— He put a costume on you. But, hey—this was just some really good cosplay, right? Maybe the hotel was running a live-action roleplay event.
Testing your theory, you walked up to a skeleton chilling by the bar. Your fingers went through the gaps in its ribcage. The skeleton turned its skull toward you, sockets empty, jaw clacking.
You screamed. Then you ran.
Ducking past a laughing werewolf, sidestepping a swamp creature, you somehow ended up in a ballroom—where a broomstick s tood upright in the corner. Desperate for escape, you grabbed it—
Bad idea.
The second your fingers wrapped around the handle, the broom shot into the air, zipping around the room uncontrollably. You barely held on, shouting as it looped, dove, and swerved wildly.
Meanwhile, downstairs, a certain blond vampire prince was strolling toward the lounge. Katsuki, son of the great Dracula himself, looked bored as hell while talking with his uncle
Then BAM— you both land on the ground
