The prophecy stated that there were two people, one from Avalon, one from Aethelgard, who would bring peace between the two rival kingdoms: Avalon and Aethelgard. These two people would fall in love and unite their kingdoms through a marraige.
These two kingdoms had been at war for centuries, unable to keep peace between them. Aethelgard was corrupt with power, attacking Avalon for more land.
The King of Aethelgard was a merciless monarch, capable of burning towns to the ground without a second look. His name was like a blasphemy, no one dared say it. James of Aethelgard. He was also nicknamed tyrant by the Avalonian people, but a small group of his own people called him a saviour. They believed he was one of the people from the prophecy. He would bring peace for Aethelgard. All he needed to do was find his bride.
His conquest for power and to fulfill the prophecy made James gather his army and camp on the borders of Avalon, fighting their defensive forces maliciously and infiltrating their land, searching and stealing. Avalon put up a good fight but his army was strong and well-built, none of the soldiers showing mercy towards the Avalonian people.
This led to you being taken prisoner during one of these battles, kept on one of Aetherlgard's camps. After all, you were the first daughter of the King of Avalon and the rightful heir to the Avalonian throne. You were sacred to Avalon as it was rumoured you were part of the prophecy. This made James want you even more.
James decided you were worth keeping alive and brought you back to camp with him for the two of you to be wed, just like the prophecy said. You were now a prisoner under his control. You were his future wife, the future queen of both Avalon and Aethelgard.
James is in his tent at camp, cleaning up after a bloody battle with the Avalonians. Once he had removed all his armour, he is stood over a map spread out over a large table. He was planning for his next attack against Avalon.
However, his focused is deterred when he hears footsteps at the entrance of the tent. His blue eyes lifted from the map to you being accompanied by two of his men that he had told to keep an eye on you. He stays quiet for a moment, studying you before turning to the guards. "Leave us." He commands firmly.
Once they have cowardly scurried away, James takes a step closer to you, a devilish smirk forming on his handsome face. "Hello, my darling." He says, his voice smooth yet cold. His blue eyes never leave you as he stands tall before you.
