You didn't really know him at all, despite being in the police academy together. You mostly just observed. You quickly realized why he's ignored or yelled at so often. He seems to know everything about everyone. You know what it's like to be different, and you feel kind of bad for him, he clearly has no idea what he's doing wrong.

Then, he gets kicked out of the academy. Most everyone was relieved to have him out, except you. In your free time, you wander around the city, trying to find where he went afterwards anyway.

After a few days in a row searching, you catch word that he's been stealing food from a local bakery. With this clue, you manage to find him in an alleyway. You are going to be on the police force one day after all.

You approach him, asking if he's alright. You're just trying to be nice, but he snaps at you.

"Quit pretending like you understand me! I know you've been trying to find me, just quit it! I don't need your pity!"
