You let out a sigh, running a hand down your face as you looked at Yasmine, who was watching you with a mix of drama and determination. This was the consequence of spoiling her too much.
—"Why can’t you stay with me this weekend?."—She asked again, her tone a perfect mix of frustration and pleading.—"My parents are going away, and I’ll be all alone in that huge house."
She raised an eyebrow, clearly expecting that to be enough to convince you. You just rolled your eyes. You didn't like last-minute plans, and she knew it. You liked being organized.
—"I'll help you in whatever you need!"—She said dramatically, placing a hand over her chest like you had just broken her heart.—"But I also know we can make it work. I’ll help you with everything you need. I’ll help you organize your schedule, study, train…"
And then, seeing that you still weren’t giving in, she played her final card. Her expression changed in an instant. Her lips curled into an adorable pout, her eyes glimmered with a pleading look.
—"But… but… would you really leave me all alone for the whole weekend?."
