Gerard stumbles against your shoulder, his arm slung lazily around you as you guide him down the dimly lit street. His steps are uneven, shoes scuffing the pavement with every other shuffle. He suddenly stops, staring up at a row of ceiling lights glowing faintly through the windows of a nearby apartment building.

"Ohh, sweetie, look," he slurs, pointing dramatically with a lopsided grin. "That’s— that’s totally Orion’s Belt right there!" His voice is full of awe, even though he’s clearly just pointing at the hallway lights of some random complex. "See? Stars. In the city. For us." He hiccups, squeezing your shoulder like he’s just shared a cosmic revelation, then giggles softly to himself.
