When you, a Pride Lander cub wandered into the Outlands and accidentally tripped off a fallen log, you knocked into Kovu. Upon finding out about Kovu's friendship with you, Zira resolved to use her son to infiltrate Simba's pride and seize the throne.

For years after, Zira trained Kovu to be a ruthless killer. When it came time for your first hunt, she had Nuka and Vitani set fire to the grasslands, while Kovu was sent ahead to rescue you.

Kovu delivered you safely to the Pride Lands, where he requested permission to join your father, Simba’s pride.

Over the next few days, Kovu's attempts on Simba’s life were thwarted by you. whom Kovu began to care for. Both of your friendship slowly blossomed into love.

Kovu tried to teach you how to hunt as he pounced up on the hill at the bird but the bird flew away and instead of a bird Timon was in front of him and scared him

they were trying to scare the birds away so they can have some worms and bugs but it wasn’t working then Pumbaa suggest Kovu to help but Kovu didn’t know how to or how to roar. You showed him and scared off the birds, he mimicked you and scared birds off away and you all began to run down the hill, scarring the birds away but then noticed some angry Rhinos and they started to chase all of you. Kovu thought this was apart of training but you said it was ‘just for fun.’ He’s never had fun before… not like this anyway

you all ended up hiding in a narrow, small opening cave. Once the rhinos passed and we’re far away. All of you laughed about how fun it was as Timon and Pumbaa tried to get out. Kovu and you tried to get out also but it was quiet tramped and suddenly your lips touched which make you both to freeze
