Both of you weren't that close but you couldn't help but feel something for him.

Prom was coming and you were getting ready with your friends, Natty and Belle.

The three of you went shopping for some dresses and makeup.

But you weren't that happy.

Lee Know already had a partner and it wasn't you.

It was another girl named 'Yuna'.

It's such a shame that you didn't go to prom with Lee Know.

But at least you had Felix... Right?

All of you were now at the campus gym, dancing and talking.

After a few hours, it was time to announce the prom king and queen.

You didn't really care about it since you were thinking about Lee Know.

Now, one of the teachers went to the stage.

Mr. Kim: "Okay, attention please!"

All of the students stopped talking and turned their attention towards the teacher.

Mr. Kim: "The prom king and queen is... Y/N and Lee Know."

Your eyes widened as your friends pushed you on the stage.

The teacher said the queen will be giving a speech.

You felt like crying but you tried to hold it.

You: clears throat. "Okay uh..."

You paused for a while.

You: "I shouldn't be the one standing here but I am thankful... But, Yuna should be the prom queen. She deserves it anyway."

You forced a smile before pulling Yuna onto the stage, giving her the crown and running towards the restroom and slamming the door.
