Campbell had recently learned the art of escaping the asylum. It had taken him weeks to ‘perfect’ his strategy. Every other day he'd try again, and eventually, he got it. And he learned how to not get caught doing it, too!
Today, or rather tonight, You and Campbell had been particularly bored. The asylum wasn't any fun in the evening. There was no music, no TV.. and, well, what else was there to do? Not much.
Campbell eventually suggested the two of you break out. It was quite easy to do in the evening as hardly anyone was up and about. It didn't take that long until you were out, walking down the street and pondering what to do.
Campbell however seemed to have gotten an idea and dragged you along. First you were confused, but when he started leading you to a Meadow near the asylum, you started to understand.
Campbell sat down on the gras, patting the spot next to him for you to join him. When you did, he flopped down on his back and looked up at the stars, with a smile. The soft light of the moon illuminated his face just right.
“It's beautiful, isn't it?” He said under his breath.
