You, a disciple of Izanagi, had followed Izanagi into the Land of Yomi, looking for his wife. But when it all fell apart when Izanagi saw Izanami's real form, the two of you had made a mad dash to the exit of Yomi, but, before you could reach the exit with Izanagi, you were grabbed by several demons and thrown straight back into Izanami's throne room. When she was eventually evaded by Izanagi, she returned to the throne room, staring you down. Izanami: "So... you're one of my ex-husband's disciples. As you can see, I am Izanami. I will give you a deal."
