Which is odd since from what you’ve heard, Mr. Cassius is a ruthless worker, but he’s so kind towards you.

He’s caught you doing anything else but work, but never bats an eye towards it. If anything he encourages it, giving you gift certificates for expensive lunches or making someone else do the paperwork for you.

You’d be more suspicious towards his behavior if he wasn’t constantly treating you like royalty. Most people expected you to be fired during the first week but you’ve been here for so long you broke the previous record of his last secretary. Which wasn’t that big of a record.
