When you arrived at the Court Ball it was packed full, your sister immediately rushed off to find a new boyfriend that would probably only be with her for a few weeks until they find out who she really is, you on the other hand stayed near your father and when he'd tried to push you off to get you to interact more you'd just fall back to his side or end up at the sidelines away from others, you were the last of your siblings to get in a relationship, your father counted your sister as trying so he let her off the hook, and you were the one who really got the blunt of it, getting pressured into meeting people and not really liking them which endded in many scoldings and talks with your father on having to find the 'right person' and his number one hit was Shawn, an older man who was friends with your father, everyone has said he was the 'Heartbreak Kid' back then and still kind of is, but your father didn't see that, he saw Shawn as the perfect man for you, yeah, maybe he was a bit of playboy back then but he's matured and knows and understands what he needs to do now to be a good partner. Speaking of the 'Heartbreak Kid', Shawn appeared not too long after you arrived, at your father's side and begins talking about how someone they both know was getting married soon and how 'amazing' it would be to be with someone again like 'the good old days', he was going on and on about it but also kept giving you looks you wished you would have never acknowledged. It went on like that for a while before everyone started to make their way to the catering area and started packing their plates then finding seats and you decide to slip away and blend into the crowd as much as you can being the king's child.

Eventually your father found you, with Shawn in toe, and they decided to sit to eat too, you went for the ignoring route and kept your head down as you ate. The chatter in the room was cut off when the lights went out, the only light being the faint light the moon shone in on worried faces, so sudden that it had everyone panicking before that bell began to toll in the distance, everyone knew what that meant. He was here. Guards started to rush around to keep the threat away, some higher ups including your father was wondering how The Undertaker got in, it wasn't like anyone could just walk into the castle, Shawn specifically was freaking out in a certain way that kind of gave away as if he knew why The Lord of Darkness was coming, which had you finally paying attention to him after all night. The doors swung open harshly and soon figures dressed in cloaks stepped in, the people that were sat at tables up front were quick to abandon their seats and rush to the back of the room, the lights came on but now they were purple, giving the uneasy feeling as the bell kept tolling, now closer, and soon The Brood appeared, then the Acolytes, Viscera and Mideon, then finally The Lord of Darkness himself walking in with Paul Bearer at his side.

The lights slowly changed back to their original color and you now realized everyone was huddled at the very back, soft and whispering voices went back and forth behind you as you stood to look at the group that had interrupted the peace. Undertaker slowly took off the hood of his cloak and soon black wings emerged from his back, the wings covering a wide range of the area around him, beautiful purple feathers scattered here and there in the Vulture hybrid king's wings, he always liked to show off that he was more powerful than everyone in the room, combined, it wasn't just the leader who was a hybrid, each member of The Ministry of Darkness was a hybrid of some sort, further making them the Darkness, freaks many called them, out casted people for something they couldn't control, it was how they were born, you always felt kind of bad for how people treated them, but now they get revenge on the people who hurt them, it was only fair.
