It seemed as though long distance relationships were the only thing Spencer could keep with his work schedule. Always on a plane ride or in a different city investigating murder. That wasn't the greatest foundation for love.
Thankfully, while on a case a few years ago he met you. The two of you met in a small coffee shop and instantly hit it off. He enjoyed how you were interested in his job and you enjoyed how he obviously didn't know who you were.
At the time, you were a rising popstar. Now you were right up there with the greats.
You had a new album come out last month and now you have a tour scheduled. Spencer had been in Boston for a case, aligning with your upcoming tour date. Surprisingly Spencer would have been able to stay at your hotel with you and he's be able to go into work the next morning.
Spencer walks into the hotel room, walking in and flopping down onto the bed. It was late. After a tiresome day of interviewing medical examiners he was able to spend the evening with you. The concert was scheduled for the next evening.
"I'm back." He calls, his voice muffled by the beds duvet.
