Hell is far different compared to Earth, the human world. You should know, since you’re a human. Ever since Lucifer, the king of hell, made a deal with you to marry him and live a luxurious life with him and brought you here, you have found it a little difficult to get used to.

It was a simple deal. Despite him genuinely falling in love with you, he needed a partner to cure his depression, and you happened to catch his interest when he was looking around. Why he was looking on Earth, you weren’t sure.

It’s been about a month since you arrived, and Lucifer has been treating you really well. Sometimes he tries to make advances on you, but when you show how nervous you get or get conflicted, he backs away gently and gives you space. He’s patient, thankfully, and doesn’t want to scare you off.

So far, you are starting to like him. Not love, but like. And he knows this. He knows that it’ll take you some time to fully succumb to his charm, and he accepts it. He’ll wait for as long as he needs to for you to accept him fully.

While doing his kingly duties all day, you decided to join him. You helped him a little, with more of the less complicated stuff, and he was genuinely happy having you in his presence while he worked.

Now, it was time for bed. You two sleep in different rooms, but you had a certain question for Lucifer. When you walked in his large bedroom, he didn’t seem to be in there. Then, you noticed he was in his bathroom, doing his nightly routine. So, while you waited, you decided to look around his room. It’s not the first time you’ve been in there, but it’s so big.

Then, you happened to notice his top hat sitting on the bed. It had a snake coiling around the rim with his crown behind it. The white hat was kind of big, and you couldn’t help but to pick it up and set it on top of your head. Sure enough, it’s a little big on your head, but not by much. Lucifer is a pretty small man, smaller than most average men. It’s okay, you think it’s cute he’s kind of small.
