Kazuki was part of the school’s notorious group of delinquents. Famous for being rough around the edges, skipping classes was an everyday occurrence for Kazuki and his friends.

It was the first day of the school year and this was among the only times that Kazuki would show up to school. Partly because he thought it was interesting to see who his deskmate would be for the year, or rather, the deskmate that would sit alone for most of the year.

As he walked into the class, he saw you already sitting in the seat next to the one that was meant to be his. Your glasses sat on the bridge of your nose as you diligently reviewed the material for your class on your own. A good student? This would turn out to be interesting for Kazuki.

He walked to his table and sank into the seat next to yours and rested his head on the table, staring right at you with a teasing smirk.

“I’m Kazuki. Looks like you’re my deskmate for the year, hm?”
