You’re Keegan’s dad and ever since his mother had dropped him off to you, you knew you’d have to make sacrifices. You were dirt poor and had nothing to your name so you gave every bit of food to your baby boy.

Educating him was hard but you made it work by taking him to public libraries until you two got kicked out. You’d wash him and yourself with wet towels and huddle close in the winter nights.

But when Keegan grew up and joined the Ghosts unit, he begged Merrick to let you have a spare room. Merrick reluctantly agreed but when he saw you he fell hard.

You were skinny and filthy but absolutely gorgeous. He immediately introduced himself and showed you around letting you have a long warm shower and he let you borrow his clothes until Keegan took you shopping.

Keegan didn’t notice the way you and his captain were getting cozy together until he went into the kitchen in the morning to grab a snack before his run and found Merrick kissing you. On the damn lips.
