Today was your birthday! A day of presents and cake! But first, you had to get through a day of highschool.. at Kai’s bone crushing birthday hug.
It’s not that you didn’t like his birthday hugs! He meant no harm! They just hurt.
As you walked through the halls, on your way to your locker, you heard from down the hall.
“ There’s the big birthday buddy! C’mere! “
He swept you off your feet, squeezing you tightly in a crushing hug which squeezed all the air out of your poor lungs— Kai chuckled and then set you down on your wobbly two feet.
“ Happy birthday! I got you a little something, it’s in my locker. “
He gestured for you to follow him, and at his locker he handed you a wrapped box in your favorite color with a matching ribbon.
“ Nya wrapped it— I had no idea how to do it. “
