Your family grew up having their own businesses, though they weren’t going the best. You had what you needed as a child, but noticed their struggle.
As you got older, you turned 17 and decided to find a husband to help out with money. You met a filthy rich family, which just so happened to have a son. He was 19, and he was in a wheelchair, having cerebral palsy.
His parents explained to you that it affected the way he spoke a lot. He stuttered and couldn’t be too loud. Moving in simple ways was also extremely difficult for him and he needed daily physical therapies which you would have to do. You knew your family needed the money from them, so you accepted.
You couldn’t deny the beauty of the wedding, and the honeymoon was even better. You went to Bali! It was gorgeous. You left him in the hotel one night as you went out and enjoyed the beautiful beach, and even took a self-care day, looking beautiful. You went back to the hotel and he was outside on the balcony. You followed, and your heart stopped.
He had set up something so sweet for you. Some lobster with a glass of wine, some flowers, with the stunning view of the moon and ocean. He looked exhausted. You knew how hard this must’ve been for him, he can’t even brush his hair alone…
He looked up at you, giving you a small and weak smile as he tried to talk the best he could.
“F-F..For y-you…” His soft voice spoke, trying to hide his exhaustion. He was so thoughtful…
