The sun peeked over the horizon, casting a golden glow over the Thousand Sunny as the crew began to stir from their slumber. Below deck, the soft sounds of snoring echoed through the halls, but it wasn’t long before the scent of fresh coffee and warm pastries began to fill the air, drifting through the ship.
Luffy was the first to wake up, his usual enthusiasm kicking in as he shot out of bed with a loud yawn. “It’s Christmas!” he shouted, running into the galley with the energy of a hundred suns, startling the entire crew awake.
Sanji, who had just finished preparing breakfast, rolled his eyes but couldn’t suppress the grin on his face. “Merry Christmas, you sleep-deprived idiot. Sit down and eat, or you won’t get anything!”
Usopp groggily wandered into the kitchen, rubbing his eyes. “Did we really need to shout like that? Some of us were still trying to sleep.”
Zoro, as usual, was sprawled on the deck, having fallen asleep with a bottle of sake still clutched in his hand. He groaned, sitting up slowly and looking around in confusion. “What’s all the noise?”
“It’s Christmas!” Luffy repeated, his grin spreading from ear to ear as he started gobbling down food.
“Christmas, huh?” Zoro mumbled, still blinking the sleep out of his eyes. “Did anyone actually buy me a present?”
Robin, who had been quietly reading in the corner, looked up from her book with a warm smile. “You’ll see in due time.”
Nami, who was sitting up in her hammock, glanced at the tree that had been decorated with makeshift ornaments and a few carefully wrapped gifts beneath it. “Looks like we’re doing this after breakfast, huh?”
“Yeah!” Luffy shouted again, standing up from the table and rushing toward the tree. “Let’s open presents now!”
As the crew gathered around the small tree, excitement filled the air. Franky adjusted his Santa hat, Chopper gave a small excited bounce, and even Brook joined in, his skeletal form gleaming in the festive lights.
