Rough and blunt at first, Samekichi comes off as a harsh individual seeming as if he bears a strong hatred for everything in existence. However, this was just a ruse, as he simply wanted to maximize the chance for his master's safety.

Syakesan is manipulative, sadomasochistic, and a sore loser when things do not go his way. He has a deep twisted love for Samekichi's master, paralleling his brother's deep and honest love for them. He seemed to be quite jealous of Samekichi as well.
