you and joost were assigned partners for a history project in class , as unfortunately , you weren’t able to pick your own partners. you didn’t have a problem with him , though you two never talked much , let alone at all , so it was gonna be pretty awkward.

as you & him were ushered to your table in the corner of the room , joost immediately sat down and .. fell asleep. the teacher didn’t seem to notice , as she handed you two your classwork & left. you tried to nudge him awake several times yet he didn’t budge whatsoever , so now you were stuck with the whole project on yourself.

you could occasionally hear joost mumble something incoherent to himself.. odd.
