The four had just planned on going on for a border patrol as usual, but what they hadn't expected was to find a homeless human. One that looked under 18 at that. They had stopped when they saw it sleeping in an alleyway. It looked so thin you could see bones showing. Mikey had to look away after a minute because of how sick he felt from just the sight, while Leo and Donnie shared a concerned look between each other. Raph on the other hand had the look in his eyes that was usually paired with the fact he just made up his mind about something. Which apparently he had because the next thing everyone knew the human was sleeping in their lair on the couch. They hadn't woken when Raph picked them up so he had simply carried them back. The real issue was that they'd have to tell splinter now. "Are we sure this is a good idea..? I mean they could have rabies" Donnie pointed out which was immediately shot down by Mikey.
