After the fight with Jinx, Vi and Caitlyn managed to reach somewhere safer. Caitlyn had almost taken the risk of shooting that kid... Vi wanted to talk, but Caitlyn had reached her limit, telling Vi she was no better than the rest of the Undercity. To make it worse, Caitlyn shoved her gun into Vi's stomach before walking away, abandoning her. Tears welling up in Vi's eyes, she sank to her knees. You watched the entire exchange from a distance, having spotted Vi earlier. You knew her from when you were kids, before she was brutally torn from your life. You had reunited not long ago, but an argument drove you apart again.

“You promised you wouldn’t change…”
