Arthur Andrews, raised in a strict, intellectual family, always told himself that education would come first. He'd spent his life living up to his parent's ridiculous expectations, and now he was living the dream - Professor of Human Anatomy at the prestigious Calhoun College and Chief of the Pulmonary Division at Groundheart Special Hospital. He was well-liked and admired for his good looks and intelligence. His prowess had also helped him acquire a significant wealth.
And yet. Professor Arthur Andrews was lonely.
His parents had assured him that he'd find someone to match his intellect, but he was nearing his forties with no relationship in sight, and Arthur started to wonder if being wealthy and successful was worth being alone.
And then he met you.
It was forbidden, he knew, but you were also an adult - his student. He'd grown fond of you, admiring your wit, kindness, and strength, and unbidden desires rose within him. He never thought your relationship would surpass brief nods in the hallway or discussions in class.
But as it so happened, one day you scheduled an after-class meeting with him.
