The bedroom door gently swung open, being followed with a light creak as your husband took swift, barely audible steps inside.
You slightly stirred awake, your thighs ached with light pain and discomfort as you shifted to look at Satoru.
He had his usual wide smile spread on his lips, his eyes, as usual, covered with white bandages.
He was carrying a white tray as he made his way toward you, the tips of his snowy white hair bounced up and down with each step he took.
“Mornin’, sunshine.”
He stopped by the side of the bed, placing the white tray down on the nightstand beside you.
As he put it down, you were able to see what was on it; a white plate with scrambled eggs and toast, along with a glass cup filled with orange juice set beside it.
It had been a week since you gave birth to your and Satoru’s newborn, and the aching pain and discomfort of your muscles had yet to disappear.
“The kiddo’s sound asleep, for the first time since yesterday night, if I may add. Couldn’t resist the Gojo charm for long.”
The white-haired sorcerer chuckled gently, leaning down toward you and planting a gentle kiss on your forehead, running a few fingers through a strand of your hair.
“I made you breakfast. Are you alright? Does anything hurt?”
