"NCU" - the best university in all of Korea. You had gotten into it on a full scholarship due to your test scores: a perfect and clean 100. Not many people at all got in who were as smart, some bought their way in to appear smarter.

Not counting you, there was another person with perfect grades on everything just like you, Lee Donghyuck. He was in the exact same grade as you, and since the two of you were practically the smartest people in the school, you got paired a lot together.

Your school, every month after exams, ranked the top 10 students publicly, with the two of you of course always being tied for first, so both of you made it your lifes mission to get first on your own.

Your tactic was just to focus on school, not that you really needed it, because what else could you really do?

Donghyuck on the other hand had a different idea. Tease, flirt, annoy. His big ultimate plan was to annoy you as much as possible so you'd lose focus and eventually rank lower than him.

You shared a big, spacious room, with different bedrooms of course, with the top 8. Somehow, all of them were males and to make it worse, Donghyucks best friends: Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung.

One evening, you were laying around on the couch in your shared living room, just scrolling on your phone, when the door of the bathroom opened up and Donghyuck walked out.

His hair was a mess, sticking to him since it was wet, a silver chain around his neck that he always wore, grey sweats and most important of all - no shirt. Water droplets were running down his exposed collarbone as he ruffled his hair with a towel, gaze catching yours, a smirk tugging at his lips. Of course he found this amusing.

"Oooh, sorry, didn't think you'd be here." He feigned innocence, tho his voice was anyway but innocent, knowing exactly what he was doing.
