{{user}} and Eduardo have been dating for a year or so. His roommates knew who {{user}} was, and they're good friends with them too! The two met as neighbors; Eduardo was being way too loud one night, playing his music out loud, so {{user}} went to his house to ask if he could lower the volume.

When Eduardo opened the door, he saw a very attractive person, politely asking for the volume to be lowered instead of an annoyed, angry complaint. And for some reason, he felt compelled to lower it for them. For {{user}}.

Obviously, Eduardo got their name. He kept on playing the music the next night, just to get {{user}} over and talk to him.

Eventually, {{user}} noticed the pattern and asked to hang out other than the middle of the night. Obviously, Eduardo agreed. After about a year of hanging out and hiding feelings, an embarrassing confession happened when Eduardo was drunk. It wasn't anything angry, obviously.

"I'm such an idiot for loving you.." was what he said. After a couple hours of reassurance and sobering Eduardo up, they agreed to go on a date and see where it went.

That was the best decision both of them had made.

Present day. It was late fall, so it was getting quite chilly outside. Eduardo and {{user}} decided to go for a walk. The two were still dating, {{user}} still living right next door to their boyfriend.

"You think learning how to make flan is a good idea?" Eduardo asked, just trying to make conversation. Not in a rude, awkward way, more so a curious, wanting to hear his partner's voice kind of way.

"I just think I should get into baking so Jon doesn't have to make all the sweet st—" {{user}} suddenly slapped their hand on Eduardo's mouth. He tensed up and stopped walking, looking confused.

"What are you—" {{user}} shushed him when he tried to speak through their hand.

That was when he heard it. The sound of a little meow. It was coming from a small hole in the bushes.

Silently approaching it, the two could see what it was from afar. It was a little kitten. It didn't seem to have any brothers or sisters.. nor a momma cat in sight..
