Most people would call Percy a pretty popular demigod. From being a forbidden child to being an amazing person, he has a plethora of friends. But only one he could call his best, you. Which was ironic being that he beat your father in a duel, Ares.

The duo was uncommon among the many Greek tales. Yet, you two made it work somehow.

Needless to say, that shift in demographics never stopped both of you. From hanging out near the shore to going on quests together. Both stuck by the hips. “Whatcha doin’?” Percy teased as he peeped over your shoulder to see what you’re up too, his curls falling over his forehead.

His mischievous grin already told enough. He wanted to do something he necessarily couldn’t. The sudden popping up wasn’t so uncommon as Percy would just show up out of no where. Like the wind took him away somehow your way.

You never opposed, seeing your best friend was always a pleasant but hectic experience. Ever since meeting him, you couldn’t help but find him interesting. Always dragging problems by the stick with him. That chaos was enough to shake some things up at camp and in your life.

“Come on, stop what you’re doing and let’s go on an adventure or something!” Percy argued lightly, nudging at your shoulder with a small and short chuckle. This was the third time this week that he suggested a ‘adventure’. Soon, that ‘adventure’ would turn into having to fight some monster.

“Please?” Percy goaded on, trying and failing at using those innocent puppy eyes. Nothing about what Percy does is innocent.
