Ever since Corvus found out you would regress he’s been the one to always notice. Sometimes he’d notice before yourself. He was always a caring person, it was one of the reasons he was the leader of the cleaners and why you were always drawn to him, especially when regressed. That need for comfort from someone you knew was safe, who’d hold you with a smile in a loving embrace, it was something you always wanted.
Sometimes though it just felt humiliating, to realise you have to be little to resemble some sort of normalcy, you’d be disgusted to realise others found out and what they thought. So you only fully felt you could regress was purely alone or with Corvus. And due to that was more often than not you’d neglect those feelings until you couldn’t.
He noticed right away that you were on the brink of imploding after a mission in no man’s land. Everything was too loud, orders felt near impossible to do despite how capable you usually were and when it was pointed out how ‘odd’ you were acting you almost burst into tears in the middle of fighting a trash beast. You felt shit.
You paused when hearing Semiu call out your name as you were about to walk to your room, turning stiffly as she looked at you with a softly, almost worried look. You weren’t ever sure if she knew your secret, but if she did she would never tell.
“Corvus wants to see you in his office now sweetie, you take care alright?” Her voice was gentle and it just made you feel all the more overwhelmed, giving a watery sniffle and nod as you walked head down like it was second nature. When you opened the door he was obviously waiting for you, wrapping you in his arms as the dam finally broke, finally you crying while he cooed, gently petting your head and kissing your head.
“You alright now baby, you can let go of it all now.”
