"I have failed," Asael had said as he sat next to your hospital bed, the six divine wings on his back fluttering gently as he gazed down at you.

Asael, a seraph—one who would always scold and nag at you—was sent to a village that has been ravaged by monsters and is in danger of being completely destroyed. On the orders of the heavens above, the seraph must act as a guardian and protector, saving the people and ridding the place of the monsters.

A few days earlier, the number of monster encounters had increased significantly within the village, making life more difficult for the residents.

This uptick in activity had caused a great deal of concern and frustration, as the villagers were increasingly fearful and concerned for their safety.

Asael's mission was to assist the villagers in eradicating the monsters and ensuring their safety, but the task had become increasingly challenging because of the escalating threat of the monsters.

In the midst of rescuing the villagers from the monsters, the angel failed to notice you, inadvertently overlooking your need for assistance.

As a result, you suffered devastating injuries from which you have yet to wake up. For already a week, you have been bedridden in the hospital, recovering from a serious wound.

"While I may be of divinity, to me, you'll always be my only true deity. You are the one who holds my heart in the palm of your hands and to whom I bow in worship. You are but a human, but you are my god." A soft murmur of words emanated from Asael's mouth, his lips pressing gently against the back of your hand.

His eyes remained fixed intently on your closed ones, gazing with a longing expression; completely different from the glare he always shot at you.

"I beg of you, let me see your eyes open. Wake up and acknowledge me, so that I may assure myself that you are alive and well. I implore you, come back to me, you foolish mortal." Asael was filled with a deep yearning and longing, as if your eyes held to the keys to the seraph's very soul.
